From 19-22 September, Emedica will be at the event in Lyon to demonstrate our software's potential to top vascular surgery specialists
eVidaVascular, the 3D image viewing software for preoperative planning for aortic aneurysms developed by EMEDICA, was officially launched at SITE (International Symposium on Endovascular Therapeutics) in Barcelona in March, and it will now be presented in Europe at the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS 2017) in Lyon (France) on 19-22 September. We will be at stand number 30.
Every year this event gathers top European vascular surgeons, as well as many future vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, vascular technologists and professionals in charge of making decisions regarding instrument acquisition to diagnose and treat vascular diseases. The main goal of the event is to exchange knowledge of the latest breakthroughs in the field, as well as to promote and foster research.
As usual, participants will attend various workshops, expert sessions, talks, symposiums and presentations about new breakthroughs in clinical practice and vascular surgery research, focusing especially this year on techniques to protect patients from radiation during medical imaging.
It is therefore an excellent platform for the European launch of eVidaVascular, 3D image viewing software that enables the analysis of and preoperative planning for abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA), thoracic aortic aneurysms (TAA), thoracic abdominal aortic aneurysms (TAAA) and iliac artery aneurysms (IA).
High precision and ease of use
Good planning is essential in order to achieve successful endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR). The damaged artery must be located and we must know the exact size of the stents beforehand. Thanks to the 3D image viewing offered by eVidaVascular, these measurements can be calculated, making the processes safer and reducing risks during surgery.
eVidaVascular is easy to use and very precise. It is available for Windows and OS X environments and also works on common desktop computers, so large investments in equipment are not necessary.
Emedica will make the most of the European Society for Vascular Surgery meeting in Lyon to demonstrate the software's potential to vascular surgeons and other vascular health specialists and professionals who come to stand number 30.
