Medical software for advanced 3D visualisation to facilitate the work of professionals

eMedica is an engineering company specialised in the development and commercialisation of medical software. Our solutions range from analysis and diagnosis of diseases to preoperative planning in different medical specialities and pathology follow-up.

Our mission is to be useful to medical professionals (cardiologists, radiologists, etc.), and to achieve this there is nothing better than working on our solutions directly with them, so that we can identify exactly what their real needs are.

eMedica emerged from within the research centre Vicomtech, which is why our zeal for discovering new lines of research is imprinted on our DNA.

At this time, we are working on 5 solutions for planning and visualisation, some of which are still under development whereas others are already being commercialised.


eVida® Vascular

eVida Vascular is a module designed for the surgical planning of vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists. It facilitates the observation and analysis of aortic aneurysms and preoperative planning (stent design) of endovascular repair (EVAR), in standard aortas as well as in fenestrated aortas.

The module enables analysis and surgical planning for abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA), thoracic aortic aneurysms (TAA), thoracic-abdominal aortic aneurysms (TAAA) and iliac aortic aneurysms (IAA).

Vascular Training

Tool intended for training and research which enables 3D analysis of vascular structures, mainly of the aortic artery.

Features of Vascular Training:

o    Load radiology studies

o    Basic analysis of studies with Window/Level, Zoom, Interpolation, ROIs, MPR, etc.

o    Segmentation of the abdominal aorta and thoracic aorta

This is the first specific solution for vascular surgery that allows professionals to exchange cases/radiology studies in an agile, safe and robust way. It responds to a need encountered by surgeons to be able to share cases in an easy, guaranteed way.

Medical software specifically for orthopaedic surgeons to facilitate the observation and analysis of cartilage and bones of the knee.

eVida® Onco

This allows the oncologist to quantitatively measure the effectiveness of drug treatments for liver cancer. This management system integrates values extracted from the image and textual data from the patient’s history and the follow-up.
